What is VoIP?

Voice-over-Internet protocol (VoIP) is a protocol that used to optimise the voice transmission via the Internet or other VoIP phone Singapore networks. Through VoIP, you are allowed to use their regular telephone networks anywhere via any internet service providers (ISPs), and issues such as long distance charges that are usually subject to callers can be avoided. This concept is also referred to Internet Protocol telephony (IP telephony), Internet telephony, voice over broadband (VoBB), broadband telephony, and broadband phone.

What should I do to use this VoIP service?

Register an account with VoIP Singapore here for free. Reload your account, get a SIP username and SIP password. After configuring your SIP device (Softphone/Phone adaptor), you can make SIP call to other subscribers or any other landlines/mobile numbers at lower rates.

Where can I get the Prepaid Cards?

You may get it from our appointed resellers or reload directly via VoIP phone Singapore website. Please contact us in order to know more.

What do I need to use for this VoIP Phone Singapore service?

You will need a internet broadband connection. Also, you need to have VoIP telephone / VoIP adapter / IP PBX with analog telephone / a personal computer (PC) with speaker and microphone if you are using softphone.


How many incoming lines can the A401 support? Do all the lines run as network cable?

A401 will be able to support up to 4 PSTN lines. All PSTN lines will be connected to A401 IP PBX using the telephone cable (RJ 11 connector), while all IP phones will be communicating with A401 through local network with network cable (RJ45 connector). Please contact us if you need to know more.

Where can I get the TA box (VoIP ATA Adapter)?

Is it possible to configure my SIP device for calling with VoIP?

Yes. You can use other SIP devices provided that your SIP configuration is correct. Please click here for more information about the SIP configuration.

Can I register as a postpaid member?

How do I setup my SIP equipment?

Username: Your SIP
Username Password: Your SIP Password
SIP/Proxy registrar: .sip2.alienvoip.com
Domain/Realm (optional):sip2.alienvoip.com
STUN server (optional): stun1.alienvoip.com

Our system is compatible with all standard SIP equipment. If you are having issues setting up the service, please refer back to your instruction manual.

Do I need to configure my firewall to make calls?

Yes. Your firewall setting should always allow port 5060 and udp port in the range between 10 000-20 000 in order for you to make VoIP calls.

Which codecs do you support?

We are currently supporting G.723, G.729, GSM & iLBC codecs.

Do you support H.323?

No, we don’t.

Can you forward local Malaysian calls to our designated VoIP number in North America?

Yes, We can forward the Malaysian calls to North America with VoIP

If only forwarding call, should we fill-in all the information?

Yes. Applying DID number requires DID number registration form attached.

Account, rates & Payment

How long are your rates valid?

You can always find the latest updated rate on our website. However, the rates are subject to change without prior notice.

What is the minimum reload amount?

A minimum payment of RM30 is required to keep your account last for 180-days or 6-months. After 180 days, you are required to reload again to remain active for your account. To reload now, please click here.

How long does my credit last for calls?

For prepaid member, your credit will expire after 90-days from your last reload date. After 180-days, you may not be able to make any outgoing calls with VoIP phone Singapore.

What is the monthly charges for ATA Adapter?

It is absolutely free for prepaid members. But, you will have to reload every 180-days from your last credit reload in order to keep your account active.

How can I reload my VoIP credits?

You may reload VoIP credit by credit card, bank transfer or Paypal. After receiving your payment, it will take 1-2 working days to send you the reload pin number. Click here for more information.

Can I check my recent call details?

Yes. Login here to check deatils such as call records, call rates and etc.

How about payment method? Can we pay by credit card?

Yes, credit card is accepted.

We are an incorporated company in Singapore and require a DID to link to our Asterix PBX.
Please provide setup and rental price for Singapore DID for our business. Single number will bw sufficient for now.

We are charging SGD25 per month for each Singapore DID. Minimum subscription is 6 months with advance payment needed.
